As everyone knows the ride has changed to the St. Paul Mounted Police, the Minneapolis Mounted Police, and representatives of every Sheriff’s Posse and Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol in the state riding on Saturday, June 6, 2009.

DO YOU NEED A PLACE TO STAY SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2009 THE NIGHT OF THE RIDE?

CALL ME FOR RESERVATIONS.

I HAVE PLACES FOR YOU TO STAY.

WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO BBQ FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT?

I have the parade permit for the ride in St. Paul. The St. Paul Mounted Police are looking forward to the ride on the 6th. Thank you Sgt. Lazoya, for the help with the Permit. Sgt. Greg Pye, St. Paul Police Department is in charge for St. Paul.

Sgt. Patricia Helen, Minneapolis Police Department is in charge for Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Mounted Police are checking out our route in Minneapolis and the best parking spot to load up after the ride.

The ride is as follows (to date):

Everyone must drop off at the Capitol between 7:30 and 8:00 am Saturday, June 6, 2009.

Drivers of the trucks and trailers will drive to the assigned parking spot in Minneapolis (to be determined later). You will need to provide you own transportation (walk, bus, taxi) to you viewing spot.

Rider/Drivers of trucks and trailers will drive to the assigned parking spot in Minneapolis and be shuttled back to the Capitol.

We are pleased that many Minnesota House of Representatives will be present. We are waiting on Gov. Pawlenty’s acceptance. And we have guests from Washington!

8:00 to 9:00 am our kick off celebration.

Riders must be ready to ride at exactly 9:00 am.

Stagers will give you a place in line.

E’leese will lead the procession past the Capitol steps with riders following.

The route is:

Capitol Steps and drive right onto Constitution Ave.

Constitution Ave. left onto University Ave.

University Ave. to 4th Street. (University of Minnesota’s New Stadium

4th Street left onto Hennepin Ave.

Hennepin Ave. over the Suspension Bridge (Grain Belt Bridge)

Hennepin to ? (Minneapolis is looking at the route and parking).

It is going to be a fantastic day for Minnesota. I can hardly wait to see the riders in uniform carrying the county flags. Riding together, doing what Minnesota does best. Help others. I know that our men and women in the service of our country will be honored by your ride.
